Round turns skate, tattoo, and graffiti energy into a raw restaurant identity

Round is an eggbun restaurant in Paris with two locations. The first opened in 2021. For the second space the founders asked me to rethink everything. They come from skateboarding, tattoo, and street culture, and they did not want polish. The brief was simple and pointed: build a brand with a raw, expressive attitude that can live beyond the restauran

I built a graphic universe drawn from skate zines, tattoo flashes, and early NYC graffiti. Burger names overflow onto images, signage is hand painted straight on the walls, a lighter is used to tag the ceiling of the toilets, and the logo is redrawn over a traditional French menu. Type sits loud and fast, compositions feel spontaneous, and the textures keep the grit in while layouts stay readable.

From day one the system is set to grow. It is ready for merch, events, and collaborations, and it travels easily across menu boards, posters, stickers, and social. The voice is defiant yet clear, so the brand can scale without losing energy or intent.
